Alcohols, Solvents & Glycols — Industrial Solvent Supplier

Alcohols, ketones, aromatics and glycols formulators rely on for coatings, adhesives, electronics, pharma, printing and cleaning.

Alcohols, Solvents & Glycols from American Industrial Chemicals Inc

Our solvents catalogue covers the four families formulators use day in, day out: alcohols (methanol, ethanol denatured and undenatured, IPA, n-butanol), ketones (acetone, MEK, MIBK), aromatics (toluene, xylene, solvent naphtha) and glycols (MEG, DEG, MPG, USP propylene glycol, butyl glycol and butyl diglycol). Every product line has a defined moisture, acidity, residue and colour spec, with USP / EP grades held in dedicated stock for pharma and personal-care formulators.

Lot-to-lot consistency is the differentiator solvents customers actually pay for. Our QC lab runs Karl Fischer water, GC purity, distillation range, APHA colour and acidity / non-volatile residue against the spec sheet before product is released to the shipping floor — and the same data appears on the Certificate of Analysis you receive with the load.

Solvent demand has historically been concentrated in coatings, adhesives and printing inks, but the fastest-growing pull in 2025 is electronics-grade IPA, MEK and acetone for semiconductor and battery production. We stock low-NVR (non-volatile residue) IPA in lined drums and IBCs for that segment in addition to the traditional industrial grades.
